What is a Medicare Supplement:
Medicare Supplement is sometimes called Med Sup or Medigap insurance. This type of insurance provides beneficiaries a way to pay out-of-pocket costs left over after Medicare pays it’s portion. These expenses include things such as; deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance.
Private health insurance companies offer Med Sup plans. All these plans are regulated by CMS and the carriers must all offer the same basic benefits. There are several different plans to choose from.
Agents who choose to work with Crowe and Associates have the good fortune of being able to participate in our free Medicare lead program.
Agents who decide to contract all their Medicare business through Crowe and Associates qualifies for this program. You can still partner with other FMOs for non Medicare product sales. Any agent who works with us as their FMO has access to our exclusive tele-sales Med Sup leads. These leads are offered to agents at a great price.
Participating agents can place lead orders for a specific area. When they are ready to receive the leads, they will receive a recorded call from each lead.
Exclusive tele-sales Medicare Supplement Leads
- $10.00 each for tele-sales call back leads. Agents receive recordings of all calls. The prospect answer 4 standard questions to confirm interest and agree to have an agent call them back.
- $16.00 each for tele-sales exclusive live transfer leads. The same questions as with the call back leads but the call is transferred live to the agent
Call lists at no cost or your own list
Our lead vendor has the ability to create call lists for the agent at no cost. Agents that wish to use their own lists may do so.
All Crowe and Associates agents receive full street level commissions or higher.
Levels are higher for agents who have a qualified number of sub agents. That number is determined by individual carriers. Our agents receive commission payments directly from the carriers. This means that; you own your own book of business. If for any reason you opt not to work with us in the future, your book goes with you.
In most cases; Med Sup commissions will be about 20 percent of the policy’s annual premium for the first year of a new policy. The renewal rate stays the same for about 6 years and then the rate goes down to about 4 to 6%. Because many people who purchase a Med Sup plan stay on that plan forever, agents who sell them have a good source of income. This is true especially when the agent has a good-sized book of business. That is why purchasing leads is so important if you are trying to get a business up and running.
