2021 UHC OTC catalog
If you are a member of a UHC Medicare Advantage plan that offers OTC benefits, the 2021 UHC OTC catalog will be a helpful resource.
Once you sign up for a UHC plan, you will receive a welcome packet. The welcome packet includes your new member ID card, important benefit information for your new plan and your Fulfillment by Walmart card. This card will give you access to your OTC benefit.
Members of participating UnitedHealthcare plans receive a specified number of credits every quarter to use on approved OTC items.
The credits are available in your UHC account starting the first day of each new quarter. This means; January 1st, April 1st, July 1st as well as October 1st. The number of credits available to each member varies by the specific plan you are on. To find out your credit amount; check the summary of benefits for your specific plan.
Please keep in mind; the OTC credits expire at the end of each quarter and cannot be rolled over from one quarter to another. These credits are a use it or lose it benefit.
There are 3 different ways you can use your benefit:
- You can create an online account. Just go to MyUHCMedicare.com/HWP and enter the requested information. From your online account; you can check the balance in your OTC account, search for approved items and place your order.
- Order your items by phone. Before you make the call, make sure you have both the product name and the ID number. You can find the item information either in the catalog or in your online account. Dial 1-833-845-8798 TTY 711. The customer service representative will ask for your account number and the security code found on your fulfillment by Walmart card.
- Items can also be ordered by mail. Use one of the mail order forms along with the postage paid envelope that you receive in your Health & Wellness product catalog.
